GN's in Kansas

I was wondering if this GN owner is on this board. This is my description of his car and him.

I belive it's a 1986 T-Type, Black exterior and grey interior. Stock wheels, scanmaster, hardtop (MAYBE ASTRO ROOF) Ran at Heartland Park Race Track in Topeka, Kansas. Around April or so, about the first few weeks it was opened.

The first few passes were 14 seconds was running on street tires, and then after i talked to the owner when his hood was popped while waiting for his turn to line up, he turned the fuel pressure, and ran 12's the rest of the night.

The car had an american flag in the backseat at the time i talked to the man.

The man is white, has grey hair, glasses, and im guessing 45-55 years old.

I talked to the man about buying a GN and he mentioned 'you should buy this one' and i asked 'how much' and i belive the man said 'ooh. around 10'

I know the man DOES NOT live in Topeka, and i belive he said he lives a little north of Topeka.


If anyone knows of this guy, or the man is on the board, i'd like to talk to you.

The man you are talking about is my Dad. I use his user name on this site. He's got an 86 and I have an 87. His name is Jim and mine is Adam.

Im here in topeka and there is a couple GNs around here. One just sold to TY with all of 18K on it and Matt and Sarah Gordon have one and an older couple just let there son take the reigns of another 86 with yellow and orange stripes on it. I work at the Dealership (Kobachs) I see them all nearly at one time or another.

I know Matt and Sarah Gordon, their son Dustin is good friends with my oldest brother and knows us all well, they used to live just down the street before they moved.

That 86 with the orange stripe, ive seen it around town, and he parks in the same parking lot as my mom does at Stormont Hospital, i looked inside and wow, it's nice. Has digital dash and the astro roof, quite the two rare options.

I also know Brian (turbobrain87) his car is *whistle* damn nice. I talk to him when I see him. Very nice guy.

I've seen a few here and there crusing around. It always gets me hyped up when i see one cruise by.

Dont forget about me also, mine is Grey and im more in Lawrence now. Isnt there a Blue T-type running around Topeka also??? I think it was on your lot Mike. Also there is a decent looking GN running around Lawrence that I havent seen before. I think it might be a student that moved in.

I live north of Topeka but have only had the GN down there once, for Matt and Sarah's barbecue last year (did they not have one this year?). I was there eatin' at Ruby Tuesday's on a Saturday night a week and a half ago and saw a GN pull out of the best buy parking lot. One of you Topeka guys needs to organize a get together sometime, I need an excuse to dust mine off and burn the old gas out of it.
