There was a GNX dash/cluster installed in my GN, and the left half is not locked in tight. I looked at it, and nothing is broken. It looks like there are a few clips missing to lock it in place. Is this a part that you can still get from GM? Does anyone know the part#? thanks in advance....HH

No parts are available from GM. Your cluster: Are you sure it's a GNX original, or maybe an aftermarket? There were at least 3 different aftermarket GNX clone dash clusters produced throughout the years. The original cluster was secured by the four factory screw locations, making it difficult to come loose, unless the screw is missing or the cluster cradle mount is broken.

I have a GNX dash "clone" built by a guy out of TX (gone now) and it did not use any clips to hold the cluster in place. Only screws. Typically if you don't get a response it is because no one has the answer. Even my response is not really an answer to your problem.

I bought the car with it this way, so I am not sure if it is an original or aftermarket. I believe it was put in shortly after the car was bought new. Is there any way to tell? Ill have to take another look at it to see if it is held in by screws. When I looked at it the other day it seemed like there were clips that held it in place. I dont think anything is broken, but I will check again. Thanks....

"souljasmooth", why don't you post a picture so everyone can see which one you have...It would make it easier for everyone to answer your question more precisely.

Claude.

If it uses similar clips as the ones for the radio bezel I will have some this week. Let me know.

Thanks for everyones help. the GNX dash cluster is screwed down tight. It is actually the outer plastic trim bezel over the dash cluster that is missing the clips. Where can I get these? Does anyone have a part number?

Thanks.....I tried it, but it only has the screws for the dash, and a bunch of different bezels. I am looking for the clips that hold the plastic trim piece over the cluster.
search eBay - "Grand National Bezel" and you will find some

If needed I could go to the local yard as they have several NA regals...
How many do you need?

lhbarret, thanks for the offer....I need about 6 of them, but I guess the more the better, as it wouldnt hurt to have a couple extra. Do you know if these clips are available from GM anymore. Let me know if you find any. Thanks again
