Searching for 100% factory original example with 25K miles or less. At least a car I won't feel too guilty putting some decent exercise miles on it. Anyone thinking of selling, or knows someone who might be??? I have been following eBay, but I'd rather deal on a more personal level. I would also consider a low mileage GN, no T-tops, but must be 100% factory. Thanks for any leads...Ken

Kirban just picked up a gnx. I was there buying some parts today and we were talking about the car. I wont give the amount he told me on the car cause im not sure if he will change his mind when it gets posted on his site but he claims its bone stock and 100% perfect. Car has under 5,000 miles. I told him about your post and he asked me to pass it along that he had one. Good luck to who ever grabs it...but you better call the bank...LOL !!!!

If you are interested in the Kirban GNX, Dennis describes it as:
"It now has 4,840 miles on it. Every piece of paper
comes with it, window sticker, numbered GNX book, GNX
jacket copy of the original MSO, records from every
owner included. Heated garage since new if it saw the
rain twice it was a lot. All the paper stickers are on
the suspension, even the sticker on the bucket seat
ash tray is still intact. The new car smell is as
strong as ever. Interior is a perfect ten not even a
wrinkle in the sun visor. Underneath the car is where
it really accels, silver gas tank, silver original
exhaust, you can take a white glove to the floor pans
and at the most get a little dust on them. The inner
front fenders are spotless. Car has no dings no dent
in the hood. The engine compartment is 100% original
exception being battery was changed to a new AC Delco,
antifreeze was recently flushed and brake fluid was
flushed."

Thanks for the great lead... I tried to contact Kirban late Friday, but they were already closed for the weekend. I'll try again Monday, but if anyone has Dennis' weekend # I'll call him ASAP. Also thanks for those PM's, Keep them coming!!!

Gnx 28 For Sale On E-bay?

I was looking at GNX 28 on e-bay tonight and was a little curious so i ran a car fax on it. I don't know how true carfax's really are but i would hate to see someone get burned. Anyways the mileage on the car supposedly is 19,938. Carfax said last mileage was taken 4-3-1998 = 41,000 . Buyers be ware of this one, i'm not an expert but draw your own conclusions.
Just my two cents.

Thanks Chris, I spoke in depth with the seller Kevin this AM. Nice guy and was very helpful with the physical description while he walked around the car with me on the phone. Car has not been taken well care of, dirty engine compartment and had some scratches in the paintwork. The biggest issues were the stock turbo had been removed, with the original in a box somewhere. Also the Carfax was as long as my arm with a recorded mileage of 41K in 1998 and now the odometer shows 19K?? Car also failed emissions several times...Had to pass on this one, on to the next...

autocheck says the same . . .
