twinvipers: Do you need a new one? Curious. . you can have the orignal one repaired if its leaking.. . it is a GNX. Im sure Year One might etc.. . would have something. Let me see. Found this.

it may be new but its not the same, the original tank had plastic baffling to keep the pump wet. That tank I believe is the Spectra unit with the "pie pan" style baffling. Not as good but still better than an NA tank. I'd just have your friends blasted and powder or POR15 coated.

Yeah. . POR 15. That is a great idea.Stuff dries rock hard and can topcoat it with undercoating. . good as new.

I have a 87 gn fuel tank still in the car that i will be removing very soon. yours for $125. original equipement.

Im rebuilding the whole car and after investing $500 for a double pumper and had the opportunity to get one of the last original replacement tanks- i got one and will be installing it soon. nothing wrong with the old tank- no leaks or any other issues.
