is they anywhere i can get a aftermarket look-a-like gauge cluster for a gnx but use autometer gauges?

try...

GNXKid on the turbobuicks board. He has 4 different styles for 50.00.:cool:

I dont know if Gnxkid is a vendor yet but you cant beat his price. Looks the same as the $350.00 one if you ask me. I bought one of his and quality is top notch.Very Very nice

GNXKID's is nice but far from the World of Motorsports one. His has to spot of idiot lights and pretty flimsy. Also doesn't have the angled back contour like a original dash. Once gauges are installed they are right up against the glass. It all depends on what look you want and how much $ you have.

Does World of Motorsports unit come ready to plug in fact harness for that amount?

do anyone know the gauge sizes for the worldofmotorworks cluster?
3-3/8" for speedo & tach. 2-1/16" for boost, fuel level, oil pressure & water temp.

Here's a WOMW cluster with SpeedHut gauges:

GNX (ASC) Stewart Warner Gauge Cluster, GNX Dashes, WOMW0010 | WorldofMotorworks.com Buick Grand National Parts & Accessories

Plug and Play Harness for GNX (ASC) Stewart Warner Gauge Cluster, GNX Dashes, WOMW0014 | WorldofMotorworks.com Buick Grand National Parts & Accessories

Get both of those and it's plug-n-play. I wish that option would have been available when I did my dash. Would have made things a LOT easier.

DJ Red Barron, thanks for posting this. I'm pretty sure this is EXACTLY what I want. I just wish I could pay someone to put this together for me, or make sure I get everything I need for a bolt in fit. I'm sold on the speed-hut GPS spedo.

Seriously, I want your dash, period.
Can you help me pick out what I need?

Why the GPS speedo you still need a speed sensor for the VSS and cruz control? Just wondering as for the dash the wireing part is easy its making it fit they say is the hard part. Im having a hole new dash panel made for mine to replace the 7 gauge one I have now. As for looks you cant tell me this dosnt lo good. I need to get new pics with it in the car.

I like the 1/4 mile 0-60 ET calculations and knowing my speed no matter what tires/gears, etc. My cruise control doesn't even work now, so, well... I never use it anyway.

There is a little more to it than just the cruz .Besides cruz it also takes care of converter lockup, Highway fuel mode, and in the chip there are also some built in knock ignore programs for things like burst Knock retard that needs the VSS signal, It will stay in low gear timing all the time, fan shut-off your fans will always stay on even at high speed at set temp. I think there are a few other things but these are the main ones. Maybe you can get a chip burnt to work around them. I guess you could just add the VSS circuit and read the MPH that it is reading on the scanmaster and only use the speedo for speed and the other things you want.

I have all speed hut gauges just like 681ton ,I will post pics of mine .it is a lil different from his.You could maybe call John at casters on Vss ,but I think u need to wire it in

Thanks 681ton, that's very helpfull.
I guess the thing for me to do is just go with this.. looks like the least painfull route for me.
Buick Grand National, GNX, Camaro, Mustang Parts and Accessories

I do need, however, to upgrade the boost gage to 25psi.

If you want the look of a GNX thats fine but if it dosnt need to be perfect I would not use the stewert warner guages there are better choices out there. As for puting a set like I have in the car if you can use a wire crimper you can do it. I just solder mine becuse I want to besure it dosnt give me any trouble. If you want to do it I can walk you through it its not bad at all

Id pay someone to show me how to do this.
Ideally, I'd like to have an all speed-hut panel with fuel, oil pressure, water temp, boost, speedo, tach, voltmeter.

PM me and I can help you out it dosnt take long to put it all togehter. but you will need to get the parts.
