Cool FYI, in the JAPANESE version of GT4 which i have and its completly differnt. For example like the last level of ur super license, in the JAPANESE version you race the c9 saber @ nurburgring. :) All of the licenses are way harder to get, not just the last level VS the usa version of gt4. The only reason I have the gt4 jap. version is because my friends are asian, and in japan it came out 6 months earlier then gt4 in america. I was playing it when noone in america had it, unless you have a chipped ps2 with the japanese version like mauh! haha ANYWAYS.......

okay well i had a pretty awsome lap, and i almost lost it 3 or 4 times n slid of the road twice, once in the beging and cost me a couple of seconds and once at the end also probably cost me 2 seconds. This was my 2nd lap out of 2 total lap I stopped after my second lap. My first lap was 5:50 or what i like to call my experiement lap, and my second lap is below. No break inbetween that was all non stop, its only 2 laps which is only about 11 mins :). Id say thats gotta be my thousand'enth something lap though (i asked my friends the conqured with me, ive played it so much i have to be in the thousandenth laps). I have played nurburgring the most out of any map. 2nd most played would be leguna, I acutally completed the endurance course once their. After you do an enduro on a course, you pretty much have mastered it. That track is pretty tits if you ask me.

Nurburgring is the track; toyota minolta is the car, ps2 hand is my controller for this race boys and girls.

My only mods are...... R5 tires, Transmission goes to 19 (on the bottom of the tranny page). Goodluck with that one guys haha, it was a beauty. I have the replay stored on my memory card. Stock suspension, with all traction controlls set to zero, all 3 of em set @ 0.

5:27.843

5:27 is smoking, but with the wheel, not likely or even close, at least with settings at 0. i pretty much spun everwhere, the wheel is just to real life and hard to nail. i gave up after about 2 minutes in. will try later.

ok im back on it! Havn't taking anypictures yet, cus my friend is barrowing my camera. But im playing nurburgring with some other cars today....i will post up some times/WITH MY WHEEL! I just got my wheel back so its on!

im doing it right now and will post times in like an hour. **You can go faster with a wheel btw, with any car (much more throttle and braking capability with the wheel) So far....1 lap with my wheel(finally got it back after I broke it) Nurburgring is the track; toyota minolta is the car, GT Wheel is the controller. Only mods are...... R5 tires, Transmission goes to 19 (on the bottom of the tranny page). Stock suspension, with all traction controlls set to zero, all 3 of em set @ 0. I leave the suspension stock so everyone can give it a try. But stock suspension can get pretty shakky at 230mph (which is what i hit on the back strech).

1st lap 5:31 with (2 spin outs)....wait for my 2nd and 3rd laps, watch wat improvments i make :) gimmie a few mins.

well the 2nd lap was freaking tits, I almost lost it in the carracel, the first carracel; but I was able to downshift and give it slight throttle with a small dose of counter steer and i recovered with only a small time delay, not a spin! Looked pretty nice on the replay. But I messed up one freaking time and it made me spin. Ended up doing 2 360's and then recoverd and got back on course (i think that probably cost me well over 10-15seconds alone). But my time was still better then the first lap, my 2nd lap time was 5:21.48 Trust me, the wheel is always better then the controller. I stopped playing after the 2nd lap, but I saved it on my mem card. I went to play with my gnx :)

playing now with a AMUSE CARBON R Skyline. At tsukba my time was 1:01.

Mod's where ALL stock(even tires) with no traction controll at all and I used the GT Wheel, this thing was all over the place.

playing now with the BMW M3 GTR, and the gt wheel @ Nurburgring.

**Results**
BMW m3 GTR, 450hp, ALL stock,no mods, all traction controllers set to 0, GT wheel(man i missed this wheel when it was getting repairs)
Heres my time 6:35 @ Nurburgring. Hitting 180MPH for a split second on the back strech.

Well anyways I ran 2 laps, both of which where with in 1 second of eachother. My first lap was a little ruff, so my second lap I tried to drive with out hitting any of the sides or rubber markers just to see what would happen. It didn't make a difference to much but looks a lot cleaner of a driving style actually was slower because my first lap was really ruff and i feel off track twice but no donuts or anything just lost tire contact patch for a few seconds. But when I do solo runs like this, I like to use the whole road up, but at the same time being respecfull to "real world situations". By that I mean I always have all 4 tires on the ground (except when air born). So after my first lap i did a second lap without falling off track and driving conservativly. If my first lap was cleaner it would have been faster. You always make up time but using the whole road, and also dont forget on a track like this to always set yourself up for the next turn. If you play enough you will memorize this track like i did :) No map required. Well boyz and girls i have done alot of driving this weekend. Im pretty much done for a few days. Lets see some of your guys times with the wheel!!!

keep trying! Remember THROTTLE CONTROLL is extremly important, it can be done! I wish I could enter a tourny or something to win some money; But even the xlink (which is online grand turismo) boyz can't keep up with me. Out of a few hundred I have played all over the nation online I have only a hand full of real competitors that give me a run for my money.

Most people give up, keep at it! Thats whats cool about driving, you can always improve it is never too late! Leguna sega is a great track to learn on, so is deep forest. But the best track in the game is Nurburgring, hands down. I would teach you to drive using the GT wheel and cars if you lived close to me. I could show you all my times in person :) And run your cars on your memory card.

Darkside, I would agree with the practice makes perfect rule, but you also got to have a natural feel, which alot of people dont hve. Driving is my thing as well, just not as much since the baby, and man have i lost my touch a little. But i had racing parties, and we would drive all night for money. I one most of the time, but a buddy who races for real, was always very good, and laid it on me.

well if anyone hears about open gt4 turnies let me know, ill rep tb.com and own!

anyways, tonights menu includes using a Nissan Motul Pitwork Z...... ALL stock, r3 tires, ALL traction controllers set at 0, with a gt wheel on nurburgring.

time is: 6:27, pretty ugly lap, but never spun. Went off track n side ways a few times, so its not clsoe to perfect. But it felt decent enough.

the gt wheel is the best and most realistic of any wheel for a video game;

i like gt4 better because its more realistic simulation racing. besides gt4 is old, ps3 gt5 is already out on trial now but your limited to maps and cars. but soon the full version of gt5 will come out for ps3.

been awhile so im playing cus its spring break and im pretty drunk. Just got home and patron was my buddy alll night, so im in a good mood.

Running a stock M3 GTR on R1 tires, no mods @ Nurburgring, using 0 on all
