Ok,this may sound dumb...what is the difference between a regular GN and a GNX O2 sensor

Regular 25162693 afs-20
GNX 25162753 afs-22

Aside from part numbers? :)

Any luck with bosch O2's?

Thanks

Supposedly, the GNX sensor cycles a bit faster than the stock GN sensor...

Rich

I have to purchase an O2..and both are listed as the same price...so the cycling faster..would that be a good or bad thing?

Anyone use one?

The GNX oxygen sensor was originally specified for the GNX because it could withstand higher exhaust gas temperatures. A regular GN sensor shattered during testing and they didn't want to take chances with that ceramic turbine.

Well since theyre both the same price and apparently available...what the hell...

Unless there would be some incompatability with the ecms?

BTW,Mike and Rich,thanks for responding.

What sensor do you use?

Thats exactly what I wanted to hear.
Thanks

Razor:

I also use the GNX sensor - no problems thus far:D

May also want to check gmpartsdirect.com for your O2 sensor needs....I haven't checked the price of O2 sensors yet, but I've been able to find some fairly good prices for other TR parts on there.

Shake it easy,
Rich

Thats exactly where I had run the numbers.

Calling my buddy at the dealer tomorrow to see if he can hook me up with same price?

If not..26.40 plus shipping
