GNX owners please respond

Do the center caps have a gnx sticker over the gta bird emblem or do they have their own emblem. I bought a set of gnx repro caps and the gnx emblem is just a sticker over a gold bird t/a emblem, and kirban says it is the way the GNX came from the factory.

I doubt you will find any GNX owners who will want to peel the emblem off their centercaps to see whats underneath it.

Sorry should have been more clear. Are the original gnx center cap emblems a sticker on top of a existing emblem which means there is no coating over the sticker to keep it from peeling off. Or are they like a original gta emblem in that it is a metal emblem with a thick plastic clear coating over the top of it. Thanks
