can someone tell me if my turbo cover is real or repo. here are the pics

The guy who had the repro's manufactured was named Joe Harrington. I know he could tell the difference (duh) and I seem to remember he said the slight difference was the finished color.

Joe got out of Buicks a few years back but the last email I have for him is Joe@hbscomputers.com.

Oh, and I have one of his repro covers. Dunno what to do with it....lol.

Correct.

Picture #2 of the ones provided above
indicate that shield to be a repro.

Current market value? In the 800-1200 range.

i will sell as is for $1100, i can also restore it and make it look new if someone wants.. for $1300.

Good thread from Rick....and I see Joe posted with some good info on his shields. Glad to see you're still around Joe.
