just changing over to a precision BB turbo wondering where i tie into for my water supply and return thanks !!

It is simple if you are not using your heater and remove the manifold pipe. :)

If it is in place, the tee into the water supply and return lines to the block.

Use the two barbs coming off the heater hard pipe that originally went to the throttle body.

Scott, I have been thinking about supplying water from the throttle body taps off the heater pipe?

That pipe is the return path to the engine for coolant from the heater.

If the heater is not being operated and the control valve is closed, how much flow will be available for turbo cooling?

On the water cooled turbos I have installed, supply is from the water pump, and return to a suction line.

For two years I have ran mine from the from the barb that originally came out of the throttle body to the turbo out of the turbo back in the water manifold ,placing the turbo in the loop after the throttle body.I have never checked the flow, but I will tomorrow.Think it is on the pressure side of the pump but Nick has put dough in my thinking.I believe I run that way as per Precision Turbo.

If the heater valve is closed you would have more flow through the turbo not less.

You are correct Scott, after looking at the pipe assembly, one nipple is on the supply pipe, the other one is on the return. :)

If has been so long since I have messed with heater pipes here in the desert, I did not remember that, and all the water cooled turbos I have installed were on race cars with no heater.

All the cars here now have no heater plumbing!

so i have had the lines to the throttle body bypassed all along so tying into them should be ok ?? does the flow matter from that hard pipe as far as in and out . and is there actually a inlet side and a exit specific flow to the turbo or does it no matter ?? thanks guys !!
