going into 3th gear slow

question: at the track its perfect, on the street in have to leave up to get in to 3th gear,is it something with the pressures, it goes in but i have to make it,.

TV cable might be adjusted a bit too tight. With key off and floor mat removed, mash the go pedal down good and hard against the floor. That should ratchet it out properly.

Sounds like some wore out or glazed up direct clutches. How many miles/passes/years have you accumulated on this set of clutches? Might be time to freshen it up.

justed freshen up, 8 runs on the trans. just slow to go in to 3th, shifts at the track good,

Slow as in late at PT? Did you try backing off the TV cable 1 or 2 notches?

Look at the valve body- make sure the control valve isn't sticking
