Well the plan is to paint in the fall if i can get all the trim pieces. just looking for info on where to buy some of emblems, wheel moldings, trim around rear pass windows, grill, bumber rubber and anything else. I have gotten some of the info for the fillers and bezels off gntype.org and gmpartsdirect and also been searching ebay but with the price fluctations there just looking for some place to buy from. Oh yeah looking to buy New stuff. I plan on using the Dupont Black. Also looking for a new set of rims. any info appreciated.:p

Finding some of those parts new will be virtually impossible.
I'd contact Brian Weaver/Bweavy (www.gbodyparts.com) or Mike McCoy...both on this board (do member search) and see what good used parts they have. GM still has alot of emblems and what not still available.
Tell the used parts guys you want TOP QUALITY. When ever I stress that, they send me really excellent parts.

Just some info: DONOT try to replace just the trim around the side (1/4) windows. They are sort of molded together. (they come apart but don't go back together very well if, at all...)

you can still get the emblems, bumper rubber, wheelwell molding (chrome only for a couple), all the weatherstrip at the dealer. dont pay what e-bayers want, see what you can get from the dealer first.

Yeah I would be leary to buy from ebay'rs when they are "NOS" NIB or whatever.. I have seen parts sold for 120% of dealer retail..

What I do is play stupid with the dealer and get a quote on parts with part #s.. That is if the part numbers are not listed on gnttype.org.. Then I take those part numbers and buy the parts for right @ 1/2 the retail from http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/.

All good..

We carry alot of the discontinued parts like Scott stated.BTW Scott Thank's if you need a part that's getting painted you tell me but when you need a mint part you also state that.It help keeps the really hard to get parts around.
Last time I checked the rear bumperette pads are now discontinued front is still avalable.
Right rear wheel well molding new in wrapper is Expensive if you can even find one. They do pop up on ebay from time to time.Ebay is good for that. But like everyone suggest get the parts that are still available first then make a list.
