A Marine sniper called into the local radio station and said that if HE was doing the job, he would have gotten the last guy, too. (even if he had to break into the warships' captain's quarters to get him. )

I'd really like to hear the REAL story here. Opsec is surely at play here. SEAL's really are the best in the world at this kind of thing. Should have been allowed to get the 1979 Iranian hostages, too. (two WERE left behind by Carter in country. They had to WALK out of Iran, on foot.
Richard Marcinko would have done it with a pocket knife, and a mouth full of "F" words. (just ask him, he'll tell you)
