So I got a ticket last night, I have been very fortunate and have been pulled over about 8 times now and have only recieved one ticket that was taken care of via defensive driving well last night I was cruising home at about 12 or so and got over for somebody to go by in the fast lane and some how ended in the far right lane and boxed in by a couple of bling bling tahos that were jokingly taunting me, after a few minutes I decided when i saw an opening I'd get out of there, well i saw my chance and just eased into it (the families very mild 86 GN) and went around them. well a few seconds later I notice some headlights riding my tale pretty good, and then he hits the lights. Well it turned out I had hit 87 in a 65(don't think i got up that high at all maybe 80 at the most and for only a few seconds) and i wasn't getting off lucky with this one. Well after driving the speed limit all the way home i decided to look the ticket over, and what do ya know apparently I drive a Monte Carlo SS lol according to a ticket. Maybe i'll get lucky this time. Anyways just thought that was kinda funny that the misconception might actually be a good thing .

P.S. all of this is fabricated and not real:D

ok the story is true lol i put that as a joke because a lot of poeple are afraid that law enforcment reads the boards and stuff so they write that after all their kill stories and what not so they aren't admitting guilt on a public board. And no I do not do drugs.

Monte SS

I wonder if the Monte SS guys have to correct people from calling their cars Regals? Reckon they get pissed off? Ha HA

What ever you do, get a good lawyer. You gotta pay to play.:D
Don't waste your $ on a lawyer for a speeding ticket. If you had a misdemeanor drag racing ticket I could see spending the $, but for a speeding ticket....please. If you want to reduce the damage, call the officer and speak w/him directly prior to any court appearance, if that doesn't work then schedule for an informal hearing and see if you can't get some leaneancy from the magistrate. If that fails, appeal to a formal hearing then the prosecutor gets involved and see if he'll agree to a reduction...which they usually do. Save the $ and don't hire a slimeball attorney that'll do the EXACT SAME THING as I've described.

It actually does happen. I had a black '78 monte carlo which alot of people called a GN. I just got mad cause I wanted a GN really bad and didn't have the money at the time.
