Some guy in a Ranger (again!) stopped quickly right off a bridge to make a left turn. I locked up the brakes but it wasn't enough. He had his tailgate down and I slid into the back of him. Busted my radiator, IC, bumper, brackets, header, grill, right side light assembly, radiator support, bumper fillers, hood, etc... Don't know how it is going to pan out! I went to my friends house for a retirement party and on the way home this happened. Tonight when I was done I was going to park it for the Winter and fix a few things. Now I need a whole front clip. Everything was new, fiberglass bumpers, aluminum brackets, grill, fillers, bezels, lamps, etc... All lost. Sucks!!!

The bumper and brackets aren't a big deal new but where can I get a new header, bezels, lights, grill, fillers, radiator support? Hopefully I can get the Be-Cool radiator repaired but the FM looks trashed. I don't know how the insurance handles these things but I have receipts for all. Hopefully I can get another Cotton's FM. If someone had a way to fix the core this would is salvageable but I don't know anyone that does it.

Very sorry to hear of this, Jesse...

Know how you've built it, piece-by-piece, too...

What a bummer---you must be in a numb kinda shock!

You have seen my wreck.

Give Brian Weaver a call (Bweavy) at gbodyparts.com

He's a hell of a guy and he can help you get the stuff you need for a reasonable price.

No doubt. I guess I will push for all new stuff as much as possible or what is left from GM and the vendors and hit BWeavy up for the rest. If his tailgate would have been closed I would have gotten off a lot easier. Car still runs:)

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. I just took out my radiator support for an aluminum one, you are more than welcome to it. E-mail me to work out the details on shipping.

Get up with Michael McCoy also on some of the other stuff, he'll give you a good deal on what he has that you might need.

Forgot about the bumper support brackets also, They are steal, same as the support, but you can have them too if you want.

Got your e-mail Jesse stop on down.I have an aluminum rad support for you ;).I have a pretty low milage GN coming in next week (Flood victim) But the car was mint insurance paid $22k on it! I also keep enough new GM parts in to do at least 1 front clip.
Figures that last week was the first time I saw your car in person then this happens.Oh well you were wanting a paint job any way. The insurance will help you out with that 1.The car can be fixed at least your OK.

I guess I will not really need the upper radiator support bolts I got last week off you:) At least it isn't totalled. Can the header panel be bought new? If you get a mint one hold it for me.... I need one!

Hey Jesse...........sorry to see your problems. $hit sure happens! Brian will fix you up. Good luck!

jess- jim accardi has a pretty mint front header if you need it. vsix on the board.

:( That sux Jesse...But your not hurt and it coulda been the beginning of the season instead of the end.:)
Sorry for your bad luck bud..
PS..I still haven't pulled the manifold for you to do...
So much to do...so little time...
A long winter I fear....

Thanks for the support and contacts! I honestly never thought I would have an accident in the car and it be my fault. I try to drive to avoid such things but this is one time I couldn't avoid it. I think most of the body part stuff will work out okay. If they give money for the stock parts I will just get what I had which is aluminum/fiberglass. My hood is kind of doubled up in the center but may be fixable. I guess my biggest concern right now is how the insurance company will handle the damaged IC and Be-Cool radiator. I guess all I can do is show receipts and hope they replace it with what I had. I have pictures of it pre-wreck so I can argue with them. If it goes in to have this fixed I plan on just letting them do the whole car so the whole paint job is new with new seals installed. No use in having to do it twice but I wish I had the other stuff I wanted to do finished first.

man im sorry to hear about that.

luckly its not too bad.

can you give me some pictures of your car before the crash? your website dosent work for me and i need some pics of a nice white T type for my car picture file for my computer. :D

thanks!
good luck w/ the repairs.:(
