Well, its not in the car yet but it was shipped to my house in less than a week.
It looks great and I went with 10" XHD 3k stall and it should accent my turbo and then leave some to grow into hopefully the motor will wind up a little faster also since there will be less recip mass with 2" smaller conv.

Went and bought a poly mount and fluid today and hopefully in the next few weekends I can slap this sucker and my backup trans in mine is flaring 2-3 and wanna get it swapped before it dies on me.

Will let ya know, hopefully this will put me in the high elevens now as my trans was killin my time with the flare.

convertor

Have you got the convertor in yet? I have a similar set up and was wanting to know how you liked it? thx Jason

The convertor is not in yet its on my spare trans waiting to be installed.

In a Nutshell my car is awaiting new TA Headers, factory ones could not take another weld job.
DHL lost them and then damaged them and then the second set was sent to another state "by accident"....Still waiting been almost 3 weeks now. should have been here 2 thurs ago.

Let u know when it comes together

I ordered my Pat's XHD 10" 3000-3200 on Tues..
They said it should have shipped today.
The moment it gets here next week, the local tranny shop is going to pop it in for me.
I can't wait to finally ditch this re-stalled D5 and get a REAL converter in there.

The reasons I went with Pat's:
1. Mucho positive input from Mike Licht, Brian Hofer and folks from the forums about the Pat's 10".
2. Steve at Pat's is VERY helpful on the phone.
3. The 10" fits my price range to a tee.

Same reasons here and the torque multiplication is greater with teh smaller convertor also.

Looks like I'm joining the club, I have a Pat's 10" non-lockup waiting to get installed next week along with my trans guy's stage 2 rebuild. Can't wait to try it out. Went with non-lockup to make the converter 4 or 5lbs lighter and so I don't have to worry about debating if/when/how/why to lock the converter during a race.

MAN, I can't wait for mine to arrive!
It SHOULD be today (Wed.).
And, barring any complications, it'll be installed tomorrow (Thurs.).

UPS don't fail me now!
