Well the TE-60 I got today has an .82 A/R exhaust housing and I plan to run this with the stock converter for a little while anyway.

My question is do I need to get a .63 housing for the lag it will have?......I need a little lag as this is a 90% or more street car, but will this be too much even with P&P heads and a THDP with a cutout?

If I do need a different housing I will trade someone or PM me an offer for this one.

Thanks!

smaller housing will be more responsive. But, you need some sticky tires. Sometimes a larger housing can be a good thing, to help control wheel spin on street tires. Just try a roll-on throttle, see what happens.

What size exhaust wheel does the TE60 have that you got?
I've got one with a 31E wheel on my completely stock TTA right now, even stock converter and it spools about as wheel as the stocker as far as initial boost. It's got a .63 housing also. But the 31E wheel is a much smaller wheel than is normally used on the over the counter TE60s.
