Must be nice , I got pulled over just for not having a front plate and a nice $75 ticket to go with it...

That's why I sold my mustang and got a "Grandma car" :P

And why in the world, if you're doing 100 mph and the trooper is stopped on the side of the road, did you STOP? Get off at the next exit and disappear! It'll be two miles before they even match your speed, nevertheless catch up to you.

Uh, #1-radios are faster than cars, even buicks. #2-it's really not that hard for other cops to spot a 100MPH black moving brick, especially if you don't live in a major city and #3-cops are really calm and composed when they finally catch up to you after evading them after a 100 MPH pursuit in a highly-likely-to-be-stolen T/R. I am sure that you won't have a gun pointed at you

I ran from the cops once when I was very dumb and young. I would not give that advice to anyone.

I agree. Your chances of actually pulling that off are pretty slim. Most cops probably know that trick and willl eventually catch up to you. Even if they don't catch you then, what about the next time you have the car out?

Always keep ur hands on the steering wheel, I dont like it when I cant see the drivers hands(Officer Safety issue), also dont run ur mouth, just be respectful and dont ask why u were stopped---U know exactly what U were doin. and Finally and most importantly if ur with the wife or girlfriend, tell them to shut the *uck up before the Officer gets to ur window. More tickets have been issued because of their mouths more than any other reason.
Yeah, I remember this advice!
Was pulled over for an illegal turn. If you are in Houston, you know it is not hard to do with ALL the %&#@ construction going on. It was an honest mistake, after 45 minutes of trying to find my way home. I had my hands on the wheel, and was real poilte. Still got the ticket with a; "Sorry, I am just doing my job".

Edit:
And "NO" I did not know what I did wrong. Was pulled over about 1.5 miles after the turn. Thought one of "Houston's Finest" wanted to check out my ride.

 I was in the Houston area last week on business. I have never been there before but I sure was in awe of all the construction as you stated. It goes on for miles and it's not limited to road construction. I saw a fair amount of buildings being built as well in amonst all the highway construction. What's the deal?
