Governor Help - Monte SS to Turbo Buick

I bought a new governor which I thought was turbo buick, but is looks like it is for a monte ss. It is new in GM box. The p/n on the box is 8655973. Can anyone tell me the shift point of this governor ? If I need to raise the shift point...how would I do that ?

Monte SS governor will raise the shift points in a GN trans a couple hundred rpm.

What should be the stock shift points ? Any way to confirm what I have is really a monte ss governor. It is new in box.

Green in color, 10 teeth. not sure on stock shift points but I think around 5100-5300, plenty of info on these figures do a search.

the only thing the monte governor will do is make the part throttle shifts earlier because the primary weight is slightly heavier.the secondary is the same .the primary is done at 30 mphour then the secondary takes over .this also makes the 2/1 kickdowns go away above 15mphour instead of 20 with the gn type.anyhow,we have more governors than you can imagine if you need one give us a call
