I just put a granatelli MAF on my LT1. Just by looking at it, you can tell that it will flow a ton more air than the stock LT1 sensor. By the seat of the pantsometer it feels alot stronger. My question is, would this work with a Translator on a TR. I dont believe I have seen anyone using a granatelli on thier TR, just wondering if there was a reason. TIA

Yes, it will flow more.
The reason it feels stronger is the oem cal. tends to be too rich, so that helps to correct it.

I've been running a vaneless and screenless LT1 with my T+ for about a year now. I have the 3.5 guts in a 3" housing, also it's blow thru.

I have a Granatelli MAF on my LT4/396 stroker, and it works fine in that application. I have been told by more than one Buick tuner that they are bad news on the turbo cars. They have been re-calibrated, and in fact, the computer will add timing w/the Granatelli. Probably one reason that you feel an improvement in your LT1. But now you have a free LT1 meter to use w/your Translator...
