Hi! I have a problem with my grand national 86. Dashboards rpm meter shows double rpms, if i have 2000 rpm that meter shows around 4000rpm and it shifts too early and the rev limiter hits too early. sorry for my poor english :(

The dash tach is always wrong, but it won't affect anything...on the shifting and rev limiter stuff you might need to help us out, how do you know it's shifting to early and hitting the rev limiter early?

yes i know its wrong. but not that much, i can feel it when accelerating. and revving

Sounds like you need to adjust your TV cable on the transmission and perhaps drop the pan and check that the governor springs are still in it. Go to gnttype.org for procedures on both. Easy to do both but you have to read how.
