Great Time At Carlsbad!!!!

Hey guys just wanted to share my experience this weekend. This weekend on sat. I went to the track with a few GN guys you probably heard of them. LOU C, from lake forest REGGIE WEST and REGGIE JR., from apple valley, RICK from....**** i forgot were he's from, Steve from I dont know were lol sorrie

Man did I have the best time, considering the conditions. Which were a ****ty ass track, and some laggy punks for officals. But other then that what a great time. Reggie's car hit low ten's such as 10.03 on the FIRST RUN! LOU was driving and proved to me that he can still lay the smack down with his driving skills. When reggie got behind the wheel he drove an very impressive mid 10.

In between each run we were all bs'ing about past runs and how to drive better, how to tune the car to get the max performance out of it. After running to at the track, and basically kicking everyone's asses, I think there was only 1 other car there that ran faster, a 9.97 run, we all headed to go eat. I had a great time listing to these old farts talk the talk and WALK THE WALK with a 10 second GN on command.

I got a bunch of video, but im going to ask permission b4 i post cus its not my car. My new vid. camra is crazy with quality and sound so each run, about 25 sec a clip is like 150 mb!!! So ill post those soon.

Doesn't sound like anything has changed there at Carlsbad!

Great times to be had, but the track is still the pits, and the people running it have been useless lacky's for years.

I'm surprised the track is even still open!

They've been threatening to close it every year for several years now.

No it's still the same Dave they are not going to improve it just let it keep on dying a slow death.When you don't have a lot to choose from you take what you can get.

I was stationed in San Diego in the late 60's and raced a 62' Ambassador at Carlsbad. Went back there in 87' and raced my GN. It was the same as it was in 68.
