Grill Filler color

I am replacing the front bumper on my '86 GN and the original grill filler was missing. I have
one from a donor bumper but I don't know what color it is supposed to be. The replacement
is silver but I don't think that would look right on the GN. Any help appreciated.

The silver/grey is correct
Having said that, a lot of us (me included) paint 'em black to blend in a little better.

Thanks for the reply, I think the black will look better as well. Might be different if this was a 100 point resto but it is just a nice play car.

Yep, it just bugged me seein' the grey/silver,
no one else would probably give it a second glance
