and parades to make it worth MY money, when for 33% more (not 500% more)I can get the same amount of agreed value coverage and drive the car anytime I like, anywhere I like, with no restrictions.

That part was exactly what she kept dancing around.. I asked that very ??, and got repeated statements about almost everything, except an answer to the ??

Bottom line.. I'll pay my $$ and have an agent down the street that I can get hold of if/when needed.

Interesting..... Just filled out the free quote thing on their site, and for a value of $10,000, it would be $170 a year on an '87 Limited... But I think I might pass on it. Firstly, it isn't going to be a show queen, even though I might park it at local ones now and then. I want to be able to drive it whenever I want.
Not saying it's going to be my daily driver, but if I'm in a bad mood and driving it will fix my attitude, then I want to be able to do so. Bad thing is, for full-coverage on my regular insurance, it's about $550 a year.... Sounded too good to be true, I guess. Now I get to go home and check the answering machine for Grundy messages, lol :D

Frank,

That's interesting that it's $240 through Grundy. I use them for the GN and it's over $300. I wonder why:confused: Maybe because I'm a new customer, younger or the violation. Now that I think about it, it's probably the violation.

If anyone cares, I called Grundy and they're going to let me add my '95TA to the policy, too. Of course, it's another pleasure vehicle.

Later,

Steve.

This message is for dhauser. Man, you have a nice list of cars in your signature!!! Do you have any pics of them posted anywhere? By the way, what do you do for a living...I must be in the wrong field!!!

It depends on how much you have the car insured for. Maybe you have yours insured for more then mine??

I know it is a little off topic but here is a site perhaps worth checking into.....

http://www.inainsurance.com/consumer/index.html

For me, I go through AAA and it costs me 420.00 a year. True if I total the car I will get somewhat screwed on the price....13k is the value they have for it.....but I am willing to take the chance.

I use AAA also, probably should use AA too. ;)

I'd take the $13K however. :D

About $1200 or so for two cars, half of what Kemper wanted me to pay this year.

Was wondering how you got it for $420, with my GN registered in MI and with a two car discount and my credit unions AAA 'discount', it still cost 850/yr with AAA. And thats with no tickets and were around the same age. And the policy still showed it as an 87 regal, and we all know how much they blue book at

Multi-car discount, Credit union discount, Home insurance with them discount.... but the kicker is I only have road coverage on it from April through November. Then just fire/theft.
