Just installed the above turbo on the T Type several days ago. Awesome turbo. This unit spools rather quick for its size and considering that im only running a 3200 Art Carr lock up. Amazingly the lag is very minimal and very acceptable. :D

I can not see them either.

Hey Louie, what exhaust housing do you have on it?

I thought the GT40 had the 67mm wheel, not the GT37?

If this is the one FTS sells for $1300, this is the bad boy I have been eyeing for my turbo upgrade, after I run a 11.0 on my Ta49 first;)

It has the PTE .63 housing. At this time I dont know exactly which wheels are included in this bad boy. Its a GT67 but on the PTE card is described as a GT3767s. I usually research my purchases thoroughly but i could not pass this turbo up and was able to quickly sell my GT32. Im pretty positive that it is the last PT67 in PTEs list the one with the GTS exhaust wheel.

Ok, now I'm thoroughly confused. I thought my turbo was a PT67. The part number on it is a 6776s. Anybody know for sure what I have?

Hey Louie,
Got any new pictures of your T-type? I would like to see how your coming along with it. Have you had it to the track yet?

Sorry Guys about not being able to see the pic...the reason for this is that the mods and admins are the only ones who can place and view pics out side the lounge , the only way you can view RUQWKNF Pic is if he will put a link to it or send it to you via email.

FYI:

We are doing upgrades to TB.com soon and will allow picture posting in forums other then the lounge in the near future.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Chris,
I have not been to the track yet with it. Im going to run it on MT Drag radials before the track closes for the holidays. Its got a easy 11.60 or so in it with alky and and low timing. I honestly think i can Eek out a 11.20 out of it just the rest of the suporting hardware is not there(rear end mods, tranny ect...) I will take some pics of the latest work ive done to it and email them to you.

The 6776 is a 67mm compressor wheel with a 76 trim (P Trim) exhaust wheel.

The 67 wheel is not out of the GT40.

Just keep upping the boost on the 49, you will get that 11.0 out of it!! The Hondas here run 11.0s in the 1/8 so I am sure that you can too!!;)

OK, How does it compare to the 67 that Louie speaks of??

You are only allowed to look at pictures either in the lounge or cars for sale (forget which one).

I thought that car was going to be a stocker daily driver. :D

Not sure, I am thinking that Louie is the first to test the 3767.

I just ordered a GT67 P-Trim, so it is a small shaft turbo, the Q-trim adds another $250-$300 for the wheel, then another $250 for being a big shaft. I went cheap. I ordered a .85 A/R turbine housing. Is this turbo going to be much bettter than my TE-61? I can't find any info on this turbo at all vendors web sites. I just figured it was a good jump up for now? What will it flow? Expected HP limits on a 231"? I found a place to get this turbo for under $700, with accuator! Built by John. The turbo I ordered has a 3" inlet/ 2" outlet on the compressor.
