your 60' should be much lower...i think you should be in the 11s. i think you're making 425-450 bhp.

i'm close to getting the gt6131re for my daily driven 1999 regal...maybe hooking up a friend with a gt3255e (both work well with stock torque converters). how is the std bearing 6131 working for you? do you have the stock torque converter? how much boost do you run?

the full 620 hp rating is with good flowing intake, heads, big cam, headers, exhaust, and 28 psi boost. my gs heads flow much better, and i'm curious to see what it will make:D
 
my gt3252 in my TTA is running similar MPH, better ET since I had better 60'.

My TTA has trapped at 116.5 at 24lbs. It is hard to say if the 6131 will outperform the GT3255 at 24lbs on a stock motor. I am sure in a car with heads and cam the 6131 will outperform the GT3255 no problem. Just my $.02.
 
Stock converter and I'm running 24lbs of boost. I do have the BB version BTW. Even with poor traction I believe I have a 117-118 MPH pass in my future. There's certainly more in it.....I just have to find to get a little more track time with slightly cooler weather.
 
Let us know how you do next time out. I thought about upgrading to a 6131DBB, but wanted to see some results first.
 
the gt6152e is said to be the most powerful, quickest spooling street turbo right now. the gt6131e has the same compressor wheel, and a smaller turbine wheel. the 6152 only comes with std bearings as per ruqknf (patrick). the 6131 is available with ball bearings...and it's only 10 hp behind the 6152...which actually makes the gt6131re the most powerful, quickest spooling street turbo:) i can't wait to see results.

definitely give this turbo the respect it deserves; port & polish heads/intake, good headers, exhaust, cam etc.

i'd be very happy with the gt3255e on a stock motor going 11.83!
