So what gives.........the GT6152 is well loved so far, and has the "infamous" -POS-
T350 turbine wheel that gave the PT51/52 such a bad rap with failures. The TE44/TA-49, "the street terror" has the 2.290" 44-trim inducer wheel, exact same as the PT51..........WHAT'S UP!!!???
If the GT6152 is the "new" great turbo, and the TE44/49 was "the" great turbo of yesterday.....why was the PT51 such a POS???????
Experts chime in please....I have a PT51 with a "chewed" turbine wheel I'm having second thoughts on getting re-built by Limit.....Chopper says they're good turbos by the way. Thanks.
