Since the prices have gone to the STRATOSPHRE

i've always though GTO's were overrated (along with K code mustang GT's ) but to each his own.

That's a nice piece, but for $8K the guy could have it knocked off and get $700 a pop from all those with lesser amounts of GTO drain bamage.

Back in my day I took 2 of these off some 65 GTO's in the junk yard.

When I sold my 65 I tossed both extras I had..

He must have some buddies bidding that up.
It seems unreal.
I should have taken mine of of my 65 before I sold it and put a lesser quality one on.

This Ebay....dumping ground or fencing operation is really starting to give me a headache

Although I have had some good luck selling, just not buying.
Too much pressure, especially if its a car.

I did the opposite.. Got rid of the GOAT for the DARKSIDE.
Both owners are very happy. In Fact my Goat is going to TAMPA
with its new owner..

I had a 1970 GTO in high school back in 86. Thought they were the coolest until my buddies PRISITNE 69 4sp car got spanked by a new Black Buick!

My non TR dream muscle car is a 1970 GTO Judge however... RAIII or RAIV!

WOW, you could probably find a 65 GTO for $12k with the original plate on it and at least had the car to go along with it.

I sure am glad my 69 GTO does not have emblems worth $8k.

i have a 67 GR-RRRR plate on my 87 silver limited right now-

people always ask why i have it on my BUICK, its because a pontiac plate.....

i dont know why its there, but about 10 years ago, all i used to own was pontiacs and no buicks, now its the opposite, all i own is buicks and no pontiacs....

what do you think the plate is worth? its thick, lots of road scratches, and ORIGINAL-
