I ran the PTE 76 GTS on a 250" motor with a standard 9" convertor and it spooled awesome.
I never got teo ring it out though i figured it could have gone 8.90s
my best was 9.42 at 146 with it at 25#s if i remember,The convertor I ran was not a very efficient one,It spooled well but lacked top end.
I would definetly use that again for a street car t4 setup.

The gts is on the the left, correct. What was the rpm on that converter at zero psi boost? A 70 gts .81 will work fine,but a 76 will work not well, ie 6 seconds on the transbrake to 15psi on a 235 inch motor with a ptc 9.5" converter. The 70 will do that in 3seconds.......
 
Ill try and dig up some old datalogs, but that was 05.
It had a .96 housing and spooled awesome.
THe cam was a 224 duttweiler grind

Thats funny right thur:biggrin: You and Big Mike should get together and call yourselves the Buick enforcers at track events. Any brawls break out and you two heavy weights can slap them around a bit. I will be that little guy that follows you two around and always says, "yeah, what they said" after you speak.:D

I always miss all the action. Everytime something happens im at the other side of the track or didnt attend the event.
