Looking to get some guages for the 83 Regal that I transplanted an 87 GN drivetrain into. I like the looks of the AutoMeter ultralite guages because they have a silver face that will match the existing instrument panel in the 83. Anyone have any opinions about these gauges (good or bad). Who makes a good knock guage and can you get it in a silver face.

And while I'm at it who makes the best non-instrument panel guage pod for like 6 (water temp, oil pressure, fuel pressure, Tach, Boost and Knock, did I forget anything?) guages in either 2&5/8 or 2&1/16 sizes.

vacationman-

i run the autometer ultra lites in my car and they're great.

i got a knock gauge from casper's that's white face/silver bezel,it's as close as i can find to the ultra lites.

it looks good with the rest of the gauges(2-5/8" 30-0-30 boost,2-5/8" liquid filled 8k tach,0-100 psi fuel pressure($$$),oil pressure, water temp).it's in the dual a-pillar pod next to the fp gauge, and you can't really tell that it's not silver face til you put your face right up next to it:).

later,sean

I second the vote for the Ultra lites, Beautiful guages to match the grey interior, Good Luck
