i just installed new 50lb injectors, and a 94 octane chip from eric at turbotweak on tuesday. car is running great now. so i'm out on the boulevard tonight looking for trouble. i see this yellow vw golf come flying up on my right, so i get on it and pull away. this happens a couple of times, then we finally catch a light. the kid was cool. he says" i'm not totally done yet, but i should be able to stay with you." the light starts to change, i build about 2 psi and launch HARD. i hear him spin. i pull 2 cars off the line. he grabs and pulls within 1 car. i hit 2nd and pull about 5 cars on him, and just kept pulling. we get to the next light and he says good race. i ask what he has done. he said it has a t3 turbo kit and some other mods. he said he was a low 13. so i hope that means i'm finally in the 12's! this car gets more and more fun with each mod i do.
