DID YA cover the vehicles with blankets??

When we got our very rare new england hail storm 2 summers ago I ran out with our winter futons & tossed them on my cars.. Saved them from dents

I've been through a few like that when I lived in Indiana. I was in a real bad one when I worked for the Ice Company outside of Lafayette, IN and it looked a lot like your picture except it was golf ball sized.

You want to see someone freak out, come to my place during one of those storms. I have a roof full of solar panels , not good. So far they've survived Quarter+ size hail but much bigger than that and all bets are off.

Glad you guys are ok and no damage. It really has to be ping pong to golf ball size to really damage your cars up. There's a few of my Dent Repair friends up in your area looking around for damage.

that aint hail

trust me, you'll know hail when you can hear it hitting all kinds of crap outside. i remember a few years back we had one in may when the mayfest was going on during the day. knocked all kinds of people out windows you name it. some of the hail that came down was the size of baseballs and a few softball sized hail around the area. i knew several people who had broken windows and cars that took a whole lotta dents and i'm talking the size you can put your fist into and looked like you punched the car fender or hood. now that is real hail texas style. anyone who lives in texas would laugh at your hail. not trying to start anything but that looks more like some ice build up. kinda like when we say it snowed a 6 inches and up north you guys live 1/2 a year in several feet of snow. don't know how you do it but i'm sure you get used to it.

another 1,,, not this pic but right now i still hve hail on my deck that has not melted.. aits been prob5 hrs now since it came down.

that is one of my biggest fears hail. wow

We lived in Iowa at the time and I had just brought home the all original triple black 70 Wildcat and left it in the driveway to wash it before putting it up. Got an emergency call and had to leave. It started storming and hailing so my wife took two sleeping bags and covered the car. She took a beating but saved the car. God I love this woman.

sorry to hear that,,,, to me today seem like it was a tornado as bad as the hail was..

Come To Tacoma

We got a MAJOR hail storm today as I was driving home in my TR. I (like an Idiot) rolled down my window and got pelted. It felt like someone was shooting me at point blank range with a BB gun:mad::redface:

Anthony is right on this. In 95 we had a storm that moved through and left 2.5', (YES FEET!) on the ground just west of Fort Worth. Not kidding. It totaled so many cars it was kinda funny. I had one of mine totaled and saw a bunch of cars with the windows broken out. Hail sucks!
