Hey! I'm offended by you saying Happy Easter.
It should be phrased,happy spring holiday, or just holiday,or just ignored altogether,+ no Easter Decorations either.+ if you say it in or near a school i will see you are properly disciplined.
Just think how any + all other religions must be Totally offended by you saying happy Easter, I will not rest till this total injustice has been rectified + all other faiths especially muslims + Athiests,can rest easy that this will not happen again.
It's taken us a while but we almost have that," Merry Christmas " thing Tamped down,Now comes Happy Easter.

Ps, don't even think about putting the pledge of alegience or morning prayers back in schools either we are watching.
 
Just in case someone didn't get that i was joking in that last post, i was.

Because i heard today ,that yes you guessed it they are now attacking Easter too,because some non christians may be offended,+ teachers are being told not only to not say happy easter in schools,(luckily it falls on a sunday)but not to even use the word easter in schools.
And it's not only schools,just google; People Offended By Happy Easter.
I'm catholic but not real religious,but it's pretty clear that the christian faith is under attack on every front by liberals.
I just remembered that, their is not suposed to be political or religious topics in the lounge,hope this wasn't too political or religious for this section,it really wasn't meant to be ,i was just kind of irritated to hear today that,now something else i grew up with + celebrated every year since i was a kid,as did generations before me, is now somehow offensive to some people so now has to be changed, + or discarded as something that should be hidden + not spoken of.
Didn't mean to bum people out on,Dare i say it. Easter :eek:, Yes i said it :p
and just in case anybody is offended,here is next years Merry Christmas, to go with it.+ because i missed the other ones happy Palm sunday,Ash wednesday, + Good Friday too. ;)

The GREAT thing about this country is that people have the right to feel publicly offended.
It is how we act towards their feelings it what makes or breaks us.

The thing is,They are not actually offended by you saying happy Easter,
they ACT like they are offended ,in order to Change Policy, gain control, or further an agenda. Almost without fail,Left wing.
Aaanyway! Happy Easter Monday,(It really is called that today ) Google it.
Or for the Italian Folk among us, Happy Pasquetta. :)

Although I am Atheist I am not a Bleeding Heart Liberal, and I don't get offended if anyone says Happy Easter, Merry Christmas or any other Christian Holiday greetings. Just because it doesn't pertain to you doesn't mean you have to get offended by it, it's ridiculous to even think that way. I know I am in the minority here and elsewhere. If I am greeted with Happy Easter (or any other religious greeting) I politely return the greeting, no harm done. I don't get these morons that think otherwise. What is there to be offended about? When people say a prayer/grace at a family function I don't feel the need to make a mockery of them, I just quietly sit and let them do their thing and carry on.

Since becoming a Christian, this is my most favorite Holiday. Thank you Lord for absorbing God's wrath on the cross for me. Thank you for the true meaning of grace.
