When comming to a stop or if the trans kicks down to first the down shift is too hard after rebuild.

I know Bruce told me last summer after the rebuild how to address the problem but I've forgot. I removed the billet servo and went back with the stocker in hopes of getting some help, which did make a little difference but not enough.

If I remember correctly Bruce said the problem was in the 1-2 accumulator, if you could take a second and bring me up to speed your help would be appreciated.

It is actually the 3-2 downshift you feel. the 2-1 cant clunk as nothing applys in low. Just band comes off. What you feel is a 3-2 "tie-up" meaning the band is coming on before clutches are realesed. It could be messed with a number of ways. I think you were gonna try to play with tv. Take some out.

Sounds like a plan....it seems to be going up in the rpms a little more than I would like to see anyway.

Thanks for the info....

The minimum air could be set a bit too high too. Is your idle in park under 1000 ? If not it may clunk during 3-2 downshift.

RPM

Nope......775 to 810 depending on how the old girls feeling.
May even be a little low now that I think about it, but I like that lope.....:)
