hard MAF pipe destroys MAF

Red A says stay away from the solid pipe.........i have not found him to be wrong very often.
 
My MAF has 208,000 miles on it, and has had a hard pipe for the last 6 years, so while it may help a maf fail that was already on its last leg, I don't think its going to ruin a good one anytime soon. I'd rather have a hard pipe then something that can collapse or rip and suck something into the turbo which in turn would shoot chunks of turbo into your motor.
