Harmonic balancer bolt issue

What’s the best/fastest/easiest way to keep the balancer fm spinning while tightening down HB bolt ? Thanks

Thanks. I was hoping to avoid taking the fw cover off... that top bolt is a pain. But, looks like that’s my route. Thanks again

I think he wants you to remove the inspection cover on the bottom.this will expose the the flex plate

^ Yeah. Then feel free to leave it off. All it does it collect oil and road grime, then store it until it can drip on your garage spot.

Can hold it with a converter bolt (s) also.

That is how I got the engine to 25 degrees after TDC to set the cam sensor.

use an impact ratchet on the center bolt.
