I have to purchase a harness for the cage that is being installed now, and I just need to know what length of a harness I should get.

I think you want a std length

they have alot of adjustment in them.
check with your builder, to see if he has one or two mounts for over the shoulder straps, as some straps have single mount points, others have double mount points.
I find cam lock easier to use than latch and link.
but thats just my preference.
