Reason I'm asking is a Toolbag on the GTO boars thinks my S2 motor is crap and should be replaced with real muscle like a buick 455. Because they are much faster. LOL

Acouple of quotes

"If *I* had the GN...that 3.8 would be filling in a hole somewhere on my property...and there'd be a stroker 455 under the hood"

"Its not about the ET bro...its principle...the GN is a badass looking car...it deserves a big cubic inch V8. I've always been sickened by the idea of a V6 between the fenders of one of those cars. To each their I reckon"

You've obviously have witness the power of a 109 before you decided to go all out on a stage 2 setup yet you're still worried what some numbnut thinks?

LOL. No. Was Just curious. If you pick 10 people at random 1 is guaranteed to be a dumbass I guess.

I hear ya. You know I've found a few Turbo Buick guys like that 455 guy too. Some people are car guys some are *******s who like one car.

This guy sounds like a moron. If you take the 3.8 SFI turbo V6 engine out of a GN and replace it with a 455 then its just a black mid eighties Regal with a big block right? Sounds like a great way to ruin the value of your car.

My guess is that based on his comments he's one of those geniuses that thinks the Olds, Pontiac and Buick 455 was the same engine. I love those guys. :rolleyes: To answer your original question "yes" there are a few 7 second V8 Buick powered cars.

The problem with big cube guys is they think only cubes will get the job done. I ran across many "big blocks" that are a speck in my rear view mirror. The dude probably doesn't even have a running car. See them at the shows all the time. I got a big block X with this and that, bla, bla, bla. So busy running their mouths off they can't get their car to run.:rolleyes:

Also don't forget to tell him that at stock 14.7psi the lil ol 231 becomes a 462.

:D:eek::D

Rod Hendricks (probably misspelled that, sigh) ran mid to hi 7's with a blown alcohol Buick big block sponsored by TA Perf at most every Buick event I've been to for the last 5+ years. The car wasn't at BPG in Columbus this year but I don't know if he still has it or what.

Just tell the moron to pick up this month's issue of GM High Tech Performance with Tony Gomes's Stage2 V6 TSO car that is full weight and ran 7.97 @175mph on Drag Radials.:rolleyes:

Here, you can also show him the video~
