My 87 GN has been sitting for nearly 2 years. Tried to fire it up the other day and refuses to start. Here is the rundown:

I have injector pulse
Fuel Pressure is 40 psi
Check Engine Light comes on with key in "on" position
No error codes
CCCI fuse is good
I have 12 volts at terminal M of the Ignition Module connector
Igniton Module was replaced 3 years ago with a unit from Advance Auto

I followed the No Start Tree and this leads me to believe the ignition module is faulty. Before ordering an ignition module, is there anything else I should try?

No spark:

Cam sensor
Crank sensor-prob not due to inj. pulse

Always check the fuse block for blown fuses!

Ignition module/coil pack is a maybe- I'd check the other sensors first.

Also check ECM grounds at the back of the passenger head.

went thru this awhile back.

No spark ; has inj'r pulse -- Check ICM
No spark ; no inj'r pulse -- crank sensor or module
Has spark ; no inj'r pulse -- cam sensor or ECM
