This is the most unusual looking adjustable fuel pressure regulator I have ever seen.
It will be replaced very soon. Just have never seen one like this before.
Yes, that is a clamp like device on the top of a standard 233 Bosch unit.

Sorry about that; All fixed now,11-24, 8:08 AM.

Looks like a stock Bosch one.

With a big freakin' clamp on it to crush the top.

Wonder how much control you get per lb. of torque on the bolt?

Fine thread I hope. :D

Yikes!
What the heck?
You got a picture of that without the vacuum fitting in the way?
I've seen that before,a while back,but I forget where.
Maybe a pic, from the front, closeup?
BTW,I see you're missing the double ended stud for the lower throttle mount at the back end of the bracket.
Might want to fix that up.:)

ive seen that done before in some VHS tape my friend had about modding GN's that was made a long time ago. in that video tape they talk about doing something similar to that to raise the fuel pressure. i just bought an AFP instead of trying to hack something like that

That is an old school device to adjust pressure with a factory regulator. I don't know who mad them, but I've seen a bunch of 'em. Been a long time tho!

I have one of those!!!!!!!! Not on the car though! :)

I got it thru Eastern Performance YEARS ago, like around 1991 or so. It is used to adjust the FP using a stock regulator. It worked OK for it's time but there are better ways now.
