The owner has spoken, several respected members have spoken, and you are now beginning to sound like a fool instead of a (overly) concerned parent. If you intend on sticking around then I would urge you to move on.

700 to 900 seems a little pricey.
IF you already have an XFI (or similar) I would think it could be done better/cheaper.

But if you already have a nitrous system, a Boost Reference Progressive Controller for $299 seems like a nice addition. (if you don't have an xfi or similar) I like the looks of it.

Those of us who've known John as long as we have are more offended by your comments than his. No 10 year old would have any idea what the joke in the title would mean. If they did get the joke, they already hear much worse than this comment every day.
Damn. That does look pretty sweet.
I've been researching nitrous systems in case my car wouldn't spool with the new combo. If I had a ECU without nitrous control, this is something I would seriously consider for $300.

Please refrain from making comments about my family.
For someone as concerned about protecting others as yourself I would expected you to take the high road and lead by example.
With the popularity of the Internet and message boards people seem to be more free with their opinions and less polite. I personally don't treat anyone different on-line than I would do in real life. In addition on every web site that I go to I use my real name. My father taught my that words are only as good as the man or woman behind them.
Anyway I did send you a PM that you never bothered responding to.
I did this because I really love this board and this community that I have been part of for over 15 years. The last thing I wanted to do is something that would effect someone's enjoyment of it. Although I don't share your opinion I do respect it.
I come here to make friend's and learn new things every day.
Unfortunately it seems today's lesson is that I can't be friends with everyone.
This is legitimately very upsetting to me and I hope this bridge can be mended in the future.

You know more crap is on TV in prime time like Viagra that my 7 year old boy has to watch and more suggestive clothing that is worn he has to see, so a thread topic like this is really no big deal(compared to what they see/hear these days). I'm sure some 10 year olds are in the know compared to generations ago. I guess "Leave it to Beaver" might have really PO'ed some back in the day if this thread topic is offensive. :biggrin:

As far as the topic - it's interesting that this is being marketed as a "kit". I made this exact same setup several years ago to help my 91.5mm F-trim GET UP with my automatic on the race car. Just a bottle, couple of solenoids, fan nozzle and some jets. I use what's equivalent to a 75-100 shot only while on the transbrake to get it spooled. It was originally just controlled by pressure switches but has since been integrated into the XFI system with Cal Hartline's help. It's a piece of cake to stage now - heck - I could probably even bracket race it comes up so fast now. It's not dangerous as long as you only use just enough to spool the turbo. It also has the nice side benefit of being an additional means of intercooling. I may get brave and leave it on for the entire run someday! ................
