SignUp Now!I think the HDMI is supposed to be better, it carries sound also. Here I found this. DVI vs. HDMI vs. Component Video -- Which is Better? Is there any difference in picture quality between the 2? I have a Panasonic Plasma with Comcast HD. I'm currently using Component video cables. Will my picture quality be any better if I go with the HDMI cable??
Thanks for any input
1080P will look fantastic on your SXRD.
I was wondering how many of you guys are into hi-fi audio and what kind of gear you have?
My set up:

I currently have a 65" Mitsubishi projection (1080i) and went to look at new sets tonight at Best Buy. The MAJORITY of the plasma/lcd units are 720p. The HIGH END plasma/lcd are the only ones available in 1080p and for a 52" screen range from $7500-$10,000 and there are only a couple choices. I compared a 720p,1080i, and 1080p side by side and to be quite honest I couldnt really tell a difference in picture quality between any of them nor were they any better than what I already have. How much better can they get? I am hesitant to pull the trigger on a big $$$$$$ TV because it will probably be 1/2 price in 6 mos!
