Have stock block, CI Champion heads, ARP 223-3703 head bolts. There are 3 different length bolts. Which bolts go where? Would be real nice if ARP included some info on that in the box!

From what I know the stock setup only uses two different lengths.
The two longest ones go in the center top (under the valve cover nearest the lifter valley) and the other six go in the rest of the holes.
Now I dont know why you have three different lengths  maybe there was a packaging error. Do you have 16 bolts altogether? did you compare lengths to your old set?

8 short bolts go in the 4 bottom holes.
4 next longer bolts go in the 2 outer upper holes.
4 longest bolts go in the 2 center upper holes

Agreed. I found out the hard way when I stripped a hole on the end using the short bolt on my original block. I have 2 boxes of the ARP bolts and there are definitely 3 lengths.

I recall a post several months ago about ARP putting the wrong length bolts in the box and the bolts were bottoming out before clamping the head down. How is that possible with the bolt holes ending in the water jacket? I cannot find the post now but am curious...what is the correct length for the ARP bolts? Does anyone know?
