Head Casting numbers

I know the TTA heads are specific to our cars only...the question is what other 3.0 castings are identical/will work without any modding to them.

I believe there are three numbers that work.And a bunch that dont.

And what is the physical difference between the 3.0 head and the TTA head.Any pixs out there???Just trying to learn.

I saw a comparison pix on the gnttype.org website from the 8445 head to the tta head.But wasnt too specific.

Any input would be appreciated.

The heads are off the 3.0L transverse mounted FWD V-6. The correct casting # is: 25536702 The GM part # is: 25536701

The 25536702 is original TTA casting number.And according to Hollander only crosses to one specific vehicle and no other...guess the vehicle.

There are suppossedly other casting numbers that will work on our application.That are more readily available.

Cool, I didnt know if they were original TTA or not. Not that I care anyways
