Could you please take some pics with the headlights shining on a dark wall (and post them) so we can see what kind of horizontal cut off line they have? Most people just take a picture of the lights shining into the camera, which really doesn't show anything other than the color of the lights (bluish versus the yellow of halogen).

Sorry to be picky, but I don't want to be blinding other drivers (as a lot of these HID "kits" tend to do).

After having HIDs on my daily driver, it would be nice to have them on the Buick too.

Thanks.

Definately need pics of lights shining on a dark wall!

I'm unable to locate the bi lights on your website? $?

The list of things to add to the site is long but I'm working on it. I've got a few things in the works for our cars. Should have some new things debut by the end of next week.

You want the the lights that have high and low beam in one unit, correct? Those are $18 more. For anything not on my site send me an email peter@alradco.com or give me a call that way I can get back to you right away.

I should have high beams ready for installtion next week and will update with pics of both as soon as I can. Thanks for the orders. :)

has anyone purchased/installed these or any hid's yet? need pics. besides better lighting they also use less power correct?

H.I.D. Sheild for use with H-4 Housing

Do these come with a housing/reflector designed for HIDs, or are they just bulbs used in a reflector designed for halogen bulbs?

I've seen some of these HID kits that broadcast light all over (not a defined cut off) and really irritate/blind over drivers at night. A good lit would have a highly defined cut off and not much stray light being broadcast.

I have factory HIDs in one of my cars, and am looking for a properly designed HID kit for the Buick that matches a factory designed/DOT approved kit. If I can't, I will go with some E-code European lights.

Caspers offers this shield to be used with H.I.D. bulbs when used in standard H-4 Housings. For correct beam alignment and clean cut off point.

This might do the trick!

Sorry, my car is down right now for 25.3 build. Everyone has been very satisfied with the kits, it's just difficult for most to take pictures at night to post up.
My HID kits already have the beam alingment piece built in. Also, the head lights I use are for this upgrade so they are designed for HID lighting. I have a couple of local installs in the next couple of weeks. Will be sure to snap a few pics. Thanks.

Any update on the bixenon? I'm curious if it's sill "plug and play" or if it makes it a wiring nightmare.

I did manage to finish installing Alradco's 4-light HID headlights last week. In order to have all 4 headlights on for high beam it required me to use 4 relays, 2 diodes and 2 capacitors. It takes patience to do it this way. If anyone would like a write-up, let me know and I'll work on putting one together.

Hi Jack,

I'd be very interested in learning more about how to do this set up. I'm sure many others would be interested too!

Please tell us more about your installation & how to go about doing this mod. (With pictures too please).

Thanks,

dave

Is there an option yet to have the outside headlights hi/low? I have no inside lights due to the Powerstroke IC...

Here are my Alradco HID's in my 87 GN vs my 2012 Altima 3.5SR with factory HID's. They are not quite as defined as factory HID's as far as a cut off line, but for the price you pay and the ancient square style bulbs it has to work off of, I think it works pretty well.
