I recently bought a T-type and it has a crack in the driver side header on the #5 tube.
I was wondering what is the best thing to do? Have the stock one fixed or buy aftermarket setup. What would be the best aftermarket ones?
I was told by the previous owner that it has a TE61 turbo. The other mods include thdp, aftermarket MAF, big filter and MAF tube, injectors (size he did not know), chip ( he does not remember) tranny work (doesn't know what). He said he would locate all of the info and mail it to me but nothing yet. I ahve called and left three messages and no return call. I have his name and address and he said that Art Carr in Texas intsalled all of the mods so if anyone knows Art Carr's # let me know maybe I can get the info from them.
I plan to add the big mouth cold air kit and a front mount intercooler when I can get the cash. I first have to fix the exhaust since we have emissions insp here and the cat was removed.
Any recommendations on headers and front mount intercooler is very much appreciated.
