Headlights Go Up But Won't Come Down!!!

MY TTA HEADLIGHTS WERE WORKING FINE, BUT NOW THEY WILL GO UP AUTOMATICALLY WHEN I TURN THE HEADLIGHTS ON BUT WILL NOT COME BACK DOWN. I AM ASSUMING SINCE THEY GO UP THE MOTORS ARE STILL GOOD, MAYBE A BAD RELAY OR SWITCH SOMEWHERE??????

CAN ANYONE ADVISE????

Mine did the same thing. Took the switch apart cleaned the contacts, haa worked great ever since. Takes more time to get the switch out of the dash than to do anything else.

So you cleaned the terminals on the headlight switch on the dash??

Yep, my contacts were completely black.
