Headliner removal out the windshield hole ?

87 Turbo Regal hard top. Anybody Take their headliner out the windshield hole? I need a windshield anyway so I was going to try a 2fer, looks like a no brainer. Anybody?

I have a cage. I wish I had done it this way.
