I was wondering what a set of ported stock heads with big valves and a streetable cam would pick up in the 1/4. Also who makes a good street cam that I should look into.

Good set of heads should get you .5 off and gain 4 mph...
Cam, if yours is fine, dont take it out... ive seen too many cars flatten cam lobes once a aftermarket cam gets put in.
Id buy a roller cam if it was in the budget

I'm looking into roller cams myself right now and it looks like Weber and Comp Cams are popular ones.

Is that a set of good ported stock heads or a set of gn1's? Also there's a shop in my town that does head work but they don't have a flow bench. Should I take the cance with them or send the heads to a place with a bench? Do you know what good flow numbers are on a set of ported stockers?
