My friend and I did the valve springs today with the engine in the car. Took us about 2.5 hours. I bought a homemade spring tool from a guy on this board, it made the job pretty simple.

I've done mine in my garage. Pump the cylinder full of air, compress spring and remove valve locks. And if you have a spring gauge you can double check the spring tension at open and closed heights.

I did mine 1 month ago, make sure you have the proper tool and it does not take too long. But theyre right, #6 with AC is a PITA! You can do it though.

Also, I picked up 3 mph in the 1/4 mile between springs and some very minor tuning. I think it was probably all springs, my car runs so much better after the swap.
